Overview of Dr&HERBS
Dr&HERBS symbolises a "return to nature" and the benefits of traditional medicines in modern day society. Dr&HERBS offers herbal remedies from convenient Shopping Centre locations. It also offers alternative medical approaches including acupuncture and massage. Fully qualified Chinese Medicine doctors and assistants staff all branches. All activities are under the control of the practice code from the professional body, the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(FTCM).
Dr&Herbs is focused on three core areas:
1. Increasing the availability of high quality services of Chinese Medicine to the British public. This is achieved through retail shop development, management and marketing; the creation of quality high profile outlets within prime retail locations offering Chinese herbal remedies and associated products whilst retaining high professional standards throughout.
2. Our quality control project works with CHESS(Chinese Herb and Epidemiological Surveilliance System) in creating a self-regulated system that will assure safety and excellence of products and services in the daily practice of herbal medicines throughout the UK.
3. Developing Integrated Healthcare between orthodox western medicine and alternative professionals to increase the range of choice and the health of the nation.

Over the last 10 years the Dr & Herbs Group has opened over 125 shops in prime locations within major shopping centres throughout the UK. The culmination of our work is marked with the opening of our new 'City Garden' - opened in the heart of the financial district to provide a relaxing retreat for London's ever busy city workers.

Dr&HERBS have one of the most comprehensive information systems within Chinese Medicine and healthcare. This is CHESS (Chinese Herbs and Epidemiological Surveilliance System). This detects potential health risks,side effects and prevention possibilities, allowing quicker responses to any issues which may arise. All diagnoses and treatments are helped by CHESS, which also provides the basis for our customers' forum. It allows our patients to be more informed in their treatment and assists us in keeping our services appropriate to the clients desires and both cost and time efficient.
